A new home!
My poor FSG has just been overwhelmed with work, so I’ve moved the blog and email duties off to a hosted service. If you’re reading this, it works.

pembi.net mail now spam-resistant!
It took a lot of reading, but the actual implementation of SpamAssassin across the entire pembi.net mail domain turned out to be surprisingly easy. Now live and working very well. Some (very little) spam is still getting through untagged, but there have been no false-positives. I may up the sensitivity a little shortly to catch [...]
Well at least webmail didn’t defeat me!
is now a reality…although I eventually just gave up with IlohaMail and switched to RoundCube. A little thought and planning, and off we go! All done. And I’ve updated the OpenFSG Wiki if anyone’s interested: Webmail on the FSGI’m such a geek

Yep, mt-daapd has defeated me. It just will not run for more than a couple of hours. Clearly there is some issue with either the published optware package, or I have some other problem (memory, maybe?). So I’m putting that project aside for now.
